Winter is fast approaching and if you’re hoping to get out to experience a ski season it’s not too late. If you’ve always wanted to become an instructor or learn to ski read on! Most resorts will be opening late November to early December. Jobs and accommodation will be filled now but there are still options to make the most of your gap year or time off this season.
What’s a ski/snowboard instructor training course?
Project Snow runs 11 week ski and snowboarding instructor training courses in the powder capital of Niseko, Japan. We have options if you’re an experienced skier or snowboarder or have never been on the snow.
The Epic - If you are a strong intermediate on the snow, get your level 1 (beginner) and level 2 (intermediate) instructor certifications to work worldwide. We’ll also take you backcountry and get your freestyle skills to the next level!
The Primer - Never been skiing? No problem! We’ll take you from absolute beginner to strong intermediate and then get you qualified as an instructor. We’ll then introduce you to some backcountry and wrap the season up with freestyle and all mountain training.
All courses include accommodation, pass, transport, group meals, cultural/social outings and future season preparation. They begin January 5th, 2024, everything is in English and we have just a few spaces left.
After Your Course: The Endless Winter
Once you wrap up in Japan you can head to the Southern Hemisphere (Australia and New Zealand) and keep that winter stoke going. With some planning you can set yourself up to just enjoy it for a couple of seasons or open the door to new and exciting career opportunities. We’ll help you put a plan together, find work at the resorts and walk you through the visa process.
