The Getaway Inclusions
If you're passionate about skiing or snowboarding and want to get the most of your limited time away, our Getaway instructor course in Niseko is the perfect fit for you.
Once you are out here you'll most likely want to stay. Don't worry, we have you covered as you'll be able to extend your accommodation.
Resort Manager and Local Team
Your local team is onsite and available through the whole season to help with everything. Starting with your airport pickup to ensuring you know where to be and when, providing assistance with anything that arises and guiding you through all of the local experiences.
The Tokyo Ryoko
Once you arrive in Japan you will embark on a 3-day / 2-night Tokyo Experience with a cultural awareness breakfast, sightseeing and plenty of seasonal preparation & support. We'll meet you at the airport and get your gear transferred to Niseko. Transportation, accommodation and group meals are included.
Training, Exams & Certifications
After settling into Niseko you will start on your level 1 module. All training and your level 1 exam are included. Groups are at a maximum 8:1 ratio making it easier for you to get tailored support. There will be a good balance of training days to free days so you'll have plenty of time to practice and free ski/ride.
Accommodation & Season Pass
Accommodation for the 4-weeks is included. You'll be staying in Kutchan which is a quick drive to the resort with dedicated transport. You'll be 5 minutes away from the restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Rooms are twin or triple share with others on the program. There is a full kitchen, dining room, lounges and gear storage. Your season pass provides you with access to all 4 resorts in Niseko.
Video & Photo
We'll be out there getting heaps of video and photos during your training and free skiing/riding. You'll have full access to everything and we'll put some shred and progression videos together so you can see and share your development over the course. We will provide video analysis to help fine tune your technique.
Meals & Outings
Food is such an integral part of the Niseko experience. We’ll be exploring the different restaurants and hot spots Niseko has to offer as part of our Japanese Culinary Experience. Meals are self-catered and there is a full kitchen and a number of supermarkets close by.
Industry Exposure & Future Seasons
We'll be inviting industry veterans to a few of our group dinners to give you insight and help answer any questions (schedule permitting). For finding work as an instructor we will help you prepare and put a plan together. We'll review your CV, help you create a introduction video for hiring managers, walk you through visa applications and leverage our international network for job placement.
Guarantees
We are so confident that your skills will improve so dramatically through our program that if you attend all of our training days and you feel that you aren’t where you want to be, we’ll provide you with an additional 2 days of training that you can use to continue working on any specific skill of your choice. But we’re pretty sure your Insta feed will be so full of shred that everyone will be in awe of your new mad skills.

Our level 1 ski/snowboard instructor training course will take your skills to the next level and expose you too some of the best powder in the world. This program covers it all, snow sports, culture, training and support from our resort manager to guarantee the stoke.
You will most likely fall in love with the snow and Japan after your first few days and want to stay. We have you covered as we can extend your accommodation. We can also look to move you to The Epic if you'd like to work towards your level 2 certification and get some freestyle and backcountry training.
4 weeks of comprehensive training. Our expert instructors will guide you through every step of the way ensuring your are well prepared for your exam and have you shredding.
When you sign up for our program, you can rest assured that there are no surprises – most everything is included in the course price, so you can focus on your training and enjoying the experience.
Our training course has a curriculum that is different to others. We focus on a well-rounded approach to training incorporating elements like cultural immersion, industry knowledge, and freestyle/backcountry training.
Most programs stop once you finish your course. We'll keep going with a combination of cultural, food and social outings to round out this life experience.

If you are at a strong intermediate level you will qualify for both The Getaway and The Epic. You need to be comfortably carving turns on a red/blue run and starting to try out black runs. If you feel like you aren't quite there yet then check out The Primer as we can help get your skills up and your level 1.
We’ve partnered up with one of the best ski schools in Niseko to provide world class training. With our Performance Guarantee, we’ll get you the extra help if you need it. Sometimes it just takes another lesson or two to nail it down. (If you attend all of your group lessons this will be on us)
