Resort Manager and Local Team

Your local team is onsite and available through the whole season to help with everything. Starting with your airport pickup to ensuring you know where to be and when, providing assistance with anything that arises and guiding you through all of the local experiences.

The Tokyo Ryoko

Once you arrive in Japan you will embark on a 3-day / 2-night Tokyo Experience with a cultural awareness breakfast, sightseeing and plenty of seasonal preparation & support. We'll meet you at the airport and get your gear transferred to Niseko. Transportation, accommodation and group meals are included.

We'll be out there getting heaps of video and photos during your training and free skiing/riding. You'll have full access to everything and we'll put some shred and progression videos together so you can see and share your development over the season. We will provide video analysis to help fine tune your technique.

Meals & Outings

Food is such an integral part of the Niseko experience. We’ll be exploring the different restaurants and hot spots Niseko has to offer as part of our Japanese Culinary Experience. Meals are self-catered and there is a full kitchen and a number of supermarkets close by. We’ll also travel to Sapporo for the Snow Festival and some karaoke (when in Japan…you sing!)

Industry Exposure & Future Seasons

We'll be inviting industry veterans to a few of our group dinners to give you insight and help answer any questions. For finding work as an instructor we will help you prepare and put a plan together . We'll review your CV, help you create a introduction video for hiring managers, walk you through visa applications and leverage our international network for job placement.

Guarantees

We are so confident that your skills will improve so dramatically through our program that if you attend all of our training days and you feel that you aren’t where you want to be, we’ll provide you with an additional 5 days of training that you can use to continue working on any specific skill of your choice. FAQ's

Take a look at some of our frequently asked questions. If you want some more advice about planning your winter season in Japan, shoot us a message in the chat box below or get started by finding out which course suits you best!

How do I know if I qualify to join The Japan Epic?

If you are at a strong intermediate level you qualify for The Epic. You need to be comfortably carving turns on a red/blue run and starting to try out black runs. If you feel like you aren't quite there yet then check out The Primer as we can help get your skills up and qualify for your level 1 instructor certification.

Can I travel there?

Most citizenships are allowed to travel for 90 days in Japan.  Confirm whether you need a visa here. Please contact us to discuss the details.

Why Japan? Do I need to speak any Japanese?

We chose the ultimate destination that covers all bases. Best snow in the world. Incredible terrain. Cultural experience opportunities. Amazing food. Niseko has everything plus so much more versus other destinations which creates a unique experience in comparison to the standard season.

All elements of our programs are in English and most locals speak English but it sure is rewarding to order some sushi or ramen without causing an international incident.

What if I don't get better or develop my skills?

We’ve partnered up with one of the best ski schools in Niseko to provide world class training. With our Performance Guarantee, we’ll get you the extra help if you need it. Sometimes it just takes another lesson or two to nail it down. (If you attend all of your group lessons this will be on us)

Do I need to worry about going for my level 2?

If you are thinking about working a season or two afterwards we'd highly recommend getting it as it is considered the international level. Level 2 is a good step up and will substantially increase your ability on the snow if this is a one season experience.

Still not sure on which program to choose?

Everyone's situation and goals are different and we are here to help you figure out which program is the best fit for you. Hit us up here.

If you have little or no experience, worry not, as we've created The Primer just for you. You'll be shredding in no time!

Goal: Gap year, career break, career kickstart

All of our options will help you dramatically increase your skill sets, gain international certifications and open up the mountain. If you are planning for one season you'll gain transferrable skills and set yourself up if more snow is in your future. For those looking for a jumpstart into the industry, you'll set yourself up with everything you need to start your career.

Goal: I just want to shred...but I'm not sure how, yet

The best way to improve is to learn to instruct. By breaking down the skills you'll learn how to self-coach with conscious competence. We'll take you from...
